MIPS = Millions Instruction Per Second
Please do not for Hard Drive Case 500 instead of 250, cause in assignment hard drive speed is double 2MB/sec.
Please be aware that CPU instruction speed is not fully dependent on Perpherial Device speed, Bus speed and capacity is also occur significant roll in that senario.
For Hard Drive:
10^6 = 1 Million (10,00,000)
first calculate how many bits in 2MB = 16777216 (bits in 2 megabyte)
1048576 times data send in one second according to our bus speed 16-bit (16777216/16)
After that convert this data into Kilobyte and calculte Polled and get percentage.
But remember that our assignment senario is 100 MIPS so divide value is 100 MIPS.
Floopy Drive is also same calculation process follow, but replace accurate values.
