About the Toshiba AT300 with Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad Core processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich I've already written more often. Now I had the official announcement for Germany in the e-mail account so we can get an overview of the price / performance.
The 10.1 "display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The processor is the new Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad Core Processor 1.2GHz, each with 1GB of DDR3 RAM per core and use. In initial reviews from the USA could beat even the AT300, the Acer Iconia Tab A510, each with 1.3GHz per core.
With only the 8.95mm AT300 is quite thin and relatively light 590g. The battery has a capacity of 6600mAh hold and, according to Toshiba about 10 hours. Connections are also abundant, so there is a micro-USB, HDMI and a full-fledged micro-SD card reader. I find that the Sony Tablet S practical, so the memory card goes directly into the tablet and the photos can be evaluated immediately. Of course, direct 2 cameras are installed, a 5MP camera on the back with LED flash, which can also record 1080p video and a 2MP camera on the front for video telephony.
In Germany, there will be two memory variants, the AT300-100 with 32GB of internal memory for 499 € and the AT300-101 with 16GB of internal memory for 449 €. The Toshiba Tablet AT300 media should now be available, but unfortunately there is still no online store that lists the tablets. Likely to change but in the next few days.
